Thames Valley Police releases witness appeal after ball bearing catapulted through property window in Leonardslee Crescent, Newbury




Police have released an appeal for witnesses following an incident of criminal damage in Newbury.

A catapult was used to shoot a ball bearing through the window of a property, in Leonardslee Crescent, on Wednesday (May 1).

Thames Valley Police is now looking for witnesses or anyone who has any dash-cam, CCTV or camera footage of the incident.

Investigating officer PC Jordan Savage, based at Newbury police station, said: “I am appealing to anybody who was in the area and believes they may have witnessed this incident to please get in touch with Thames Valley Police.

“I would also like to appeal to anyone who has any dash-cam, CCTV or camera footage of the incident, to please check this and contact us if it has captured anything that could assist this investigation.
