Police seal off Newbury flats
Forensics officers from Thames Valley Police are currently at the scene of Bramble Court (pictured) in North Way near Queens Road, where the 38-year-old man died.
Another man, aged 33, is in hospital after suffering serious injuries at a Boundary Road address last night in what is thought to be the same incident.
Despite repeated requests Thames Valley Police has released no further information relating to the incident, which has now gathered the attention of national media who are at the Queens Road scene.
Officers had been patrolling the area near to Bramble Court and at 12.55pm the flats and forecourt were bound by police tape.
Tensions between police and residents have been evident as rumours over what transpired last night begin to circulate.
In Boundary Road officers vacated the scene at around 1pm after spending more than 13 hours outside the house where the 33-year-old was found.
Two men, aged 22 and 20, were arrested in the Thatcham area on suspicion of murder during the early hours of this morning (Saturday).
Another man, aged 32, was arrested at an address in the Newbury area.
A fourth man was also arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.
