Police search for missing Pangbourne man
Timothy Alexander Painter, of Meadowside Road, Pangbourne, was reported missing to police at 3.29pm yesterday (Thurs) and was last seen in the Prospect Park area at about 9.30am that morning.
There are concerns about Mr Painter’s mental health and his family and police are growing increasingly worried about his welfare.
He is described as white, 6ft 2ins, of average build with short dark hair, thinning on top with sideburns and he has green/blue eyes.
He is believed to be wearing dark navy weatherproof trousers, possibly a blue t-shirt and industrial-style black boots.
Extensive searches of the local area are being carried out and the police helicopter was deployed to help with the search yesterday and today.
A team of volunteers will also be assisting police with the searches today, including the Berkshire Lowland Search and Rescue and Berkshire Search Dogs.
