Thames Valley Police seek individuals in possession of knives and baseball bats after reported fight in Newbury




Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses that may have seen four individuals in possession of bladed articles and offensive weapons in Newbury.

There were reports of a fight along The Nightingales on December 23 (Thursday) at around 3.10pm.

It was reported that knives and baseball bats were being used.

One man has been arrested in connection with the incident.

Nicholas Cross, 18, of Ewing Way, Newbury, has been released on bail to appear at Loddon Valley police station on January 20.

Investigating officer PC Ryan Tench, based at Newbury police station, said: "We are seeking witnesses or CCTV footage regarding this incident as there were many people around at the time and this was in broad daylight.
