Police seek information about Bucklebury car park suspected arson
Mike Wilson, crew manager of Red Watch at Newbury Fire Station, said one pump was called at 8.30pm to a car park in Fanny’s Lane:
“Someone had set fire to a couple of plastic petrol cans - one was burnt away and the other was empty,” said Mr Wilson.
The fire crew left the scene after about ten minutes.
The incident was reported to police as suspicious by the Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service (RBFRS).

Thames Valley Police (TVP) spokesman, James Williams, said the suspected arson was reported to police at 9.44pm on Monday (October 7).
“Two petrol cans were on fire during the incident occurred in Fannys Lane, Bucklebury,” said Mr Williams.
