CCTV image released of man wanted in connection with damage to Newbury restaurant
POLICE have released a CCTV image of a man wanted in connection with £2000 worth of criminal damage to a restaurant in Newbury.
The image shows a man wearing a grey top and police would like to speak to him in connection with three windows being damaged at the Strada building, Market Place, at 3.15am on Sunday, July 10.
Pc Pete Sutherland, neighbourhood specialist officer, said: “There was no trouble in the area at the time and we are keen to speak to the person responsible and establish why this damage was done.
“I would like to hear from anyone who can identify this man or if they were in the area and noticed someone kicking windows to contact police.”
