Police seek man who exposed his chest in Tilehurst

A man exposed part of his body to two young girls in a car park outside of the Co-op in Tilehurst

POLICE are trying to track a man who whistled at two young girls before exposing his chest to them in a Tilehurst car park.

The incident occurred in School Road, Tilehurst, on Tuesday, May 10 at around 6.10pm.

The girls, aged 11 and 13, were walking through the car park of the Co-op store when the man whistled to attract their attention.

He then undid his top and showed his bare chest to them, before walking off.

The man is described as white, aged between 30 and 40 years old, with a thin build and shaven brown hair, and wearing a brown or red zip-up top.

Pc Chris Liddicott, investigating the incident, said: “The girls were not hurt in any way, but this type of behaviour is inappropriate and unacceptable.

“I would like to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time, who may have seen this man, or where he went after leaving the area.”

Anyone with information is asked to telephone 0845 8 505 505, or 0800 555 111 anonymously.
