Police seize £2,000 in suspected ill-gotten gains from Cindy Jayne Bull of Calcot

POLICE have successfully applied for the continued retention of cash seized from a woman.
Reading magistrates granted the retention order in respect of £2,000 seized from Cindy Jayne Bull of Highview, Calcot, on Tuesday, December 17.
They made the order in accordance with section 295 of the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002, “the applicant having reasonable grounds for suspecting that it is recoverable property; that is, property obtained through unlawful conduct intended for use in unlawful conduct”.
The retention order will last for six months.
