Thames Valley police officers in West Berkshire seize drugs disguised as sweets




Thames Valley Police has announced that officers in West Berkshire have seized controlled drugs disguised as sweets.

The discovery has prompted a public warning from the force, which said that the drugs, if consumed, could carry major health risks.

The haul was announced via Facebook, although the circumstances under which the drugs were seized is unknown.

They were hidden in sweet wrappers, including the popular Skittles brand.

Anybody with information relevant to the police enquiry into the matter should contact the Police Enquiry Centre on 101.

Thames Valley Police has been approached for further comment.
