Vodka seized from underage drinkers by the Newbury Neighbourhood Policing Team

Two Newbury police officers seized a bottle of vodka from underage drinkers while while out on patrol in Turnpike.

Police Community Support Officers Beaven and Vaughan from the Newbury Neighbourhood Policing Team were on foot patrol this evening (Tuesday, July 7) around Rosemoor Gardens and the surrounding areas.

They stopped checked a number of youths for underage drinking and the bottle of vodka was seized.

TVP West Berkshire posted about the patrol on Facebook at around 7.10pm.

The post encouraged residents to say hello to the officers if they saw them when out on patrol.
