Police urging Newbury residents to be on the look out for wanted man
The force is now calling on the public’s help in locating Kevin Cooper (pictured), aged 33, from Redruth.
He is white, 6ft 3ins, with brown, straight, receding hair and blue eyes.
He has a tattoo of a rose and the word ‘Nan’ on the right side of his neck and has two upper teeth missing.
He is being sought by officers from the Devon and Cornwall Police Major Crime Investigation Team in connection with the death of David Alderson, 72, from Falmouth, whose body was found within the grounds of the mine works at Wheal Maid near Carharrack, Cornwall.
Officers are conducting active enquires in the Thames Valley area, and Newbury in particular, in an attempt to locate and arrest him.
Detective Superintendent Paul Burgan, Major Crime Investigation Team, said: “We believe Mr Cooper may be in the Newbury area and urge anyone who sees him to call police immediately.”
