POLL: Do you think the trial of extended pedestrianisation hours in Newbury town centre is working?




The town centre is currently a no-go zone for vehicles from 10am to 11pm (previously 10am to 5pm).

West Berkshire Council has started a trial, with a six-month review planned, for Northbrook Street, Market Place and some of Bartholomew Street.

It said pedestrianisation schemes are known to boost footfall and spending.
