Polling cards to be posted out
Voters will go to the polls on May 5 for the local elections and Referendum on the voting system for MPs
POLLING cards for voters in West Berkshire are set to be mailed out this week.
On May 5, district residents will go to the polls for the local elections and the Referendum on the voting system used to elect MPs to the House of Commons and West Berkshire Council is set to mail out poll cards to the electors on Friday (March 25).
All polling stations to be used for the elections will be the same as last year with one exception; St Nicolas Church Hall in Newbury is unavailable so voters will instead have to go to the nearby Waterside Centre.
Anyone who is unable to go to their polling station can apply to vote by post and application forms can be obtained by calling 01635 519464, or clicking on the link below.
All forms must be returned to the Electoral Registration Officer at West Berkshire Council by 5pm on Thursday, April 14.
