MOVEability exercise classes, ideal for people with Parkinson’s, expand to Chieveley after successful run in Hermitage and Thatcham

The team behind popular weekly exercise classes are thrilled to announce their expansion to a third venue.

Due to popular demand, MOVEability – which provides seated exercise classes for all ages – is launching its new weekly classes at Chieveley after a successful introduction at Thatcham and Hermitage.

The first class began yesterday (Thursday) and will continue each week from 11am at Chieveley Village Hall.

Similar to the classes at Hermitage Village Hall – which now attract up to 20 people every week – the new classes in Chieveley will run for approximately 45 minutes and feature various aerobic and strengthening exercises.

“Getting the word out to as many people as we can helps us to meet our ultimate social impact of ‘enhancing lives’, not only through the benefits of gentle exercise but, just as importantly, by bringing people within communities together,” said director Debbie Medlin.

The classes are receiving additional support from Connecting Communities in Berkshire and Get Berkshire Active.

MOVEability also runs online Zoom exercise classes along with a fortnightly class specifically for people with Parkinson’s.
