Mulfords Hill Post Office in Tadley to close and move into Premier, 1B Aldermaston Road

The Post Office has decided to close one of its Tadley branches and move it into a convenience store within the town.

Mulfords Hill Post Office, located at 18 Mulfords Hill, will close on February 1 next year, with the new branch opening at Premier, 1B Aldermaston Road, on the following day.

The Post Office came to the decision after carrying out a local public consultation.

Post Office network provision manager Jason Collins said: “After careful consideration of the feedback received, we remain confident that the layout and location of the new branch will continue to meet customer needs and deliver an excellent service, whilst securing the long-term viability of Post Office services in the local community.”

The new branch will provide a similar range of products and services, such as mail delivery, travel money and money transfers.
