Bewley Homes hosting public exhibition at The Hurst Lesiure Centre for potential 260-home development south of Tadley

A housing developer is hosting a public exhibition tomorrow (Tuesday) to seek views on its proposal to build a large number of houses on Skates Lane in Tadley.

According to Tadley Town Council, Bewley Homes plans to submit a proposal to build around 260 homes at the Skates Lane site, which is located south of Tadley off Aldermaston Road.

Bewley is holding its public exhibition on Tuesday, June 20, between 5pm and 10pm at The Hurst Leisure Centre on Brimpton Road in Baughurst.

Initial public feedback has been negative, with several Tadley locals voicing their opinions on the town council’s Facebook page.

Most commenters stated that the town’s infrastructure would not be able to cope with such a big influx of new residents.
