VIDEO: Pothole on B4494 between Leckhampstead and Peasemore leaves vehicles damaged
A large pothole on the B4494 has left a number of vehicles damaged.
The pothole is at the crossroads between Leckhampstead and Peasemore.
It is around a foot deep and filled with water.
As road is currently flooded, the extent of the road damage is not fully visible.
A number of cars driving through this morning (Thursday) were left damaged.
One woman was left with two flat tyres after driving her car down the stretch of road.
Whilst waiting for the AA to arrive, she told Newburytoday: “I was driving to work.
“I got this far and I slowed down and went through it [pothole].
“And there was two big bangs and I could tell my steering was gone.
“So I pulled in and I got two flat tyres.”
