Power cut in Newbury town centre affects businesses and properties

A power cut is affecting a part of Newbury town centre.

The north end of Northbrook Street is currently without power, as are some properties and businesses on London Road, Park Street and Park Way.

The cut was first reported to Scottish & Southern Electricity Networks (SSEN) at 10.05am and power is hoped to be restored by 4.30pm.

SSEN engineers are on-site trying to restore power.
