Power cut in Shaw

Southern Electric confirms 30 homes are affected by cut since early hours of the morning
LOCAL residents have reported experiencing a power cut in the Dene Way area of Shaw this morning (Tuesday).
Southern Electric confirmed that there has been a problem with an underground cable, and that power will not be restored until possibly early this evening.
In total, about 30 homes are affected.
Southern Electric spokeswoman Sam O'Connor said: “We would really like to apologise to our customers for this loss of service, our engineers are working hard to get the power back on as soon as possible.”
