Power restored to more than 100 properties in RG7 postcode

A spokesman for SSE confirmed that 120 customers in parts of Woolhampton, Aldermaston and Theale experienced a blackout at 4.05am, but added that 100 households had their power back on by 10am.
The remaining 20 are expected to be restored shortly.
SSE said there was no "obvious reason" for the outage and said a full investigation would take place into the cause.
Yesterday evening, some residents in East Ilsley were also without power.
