Power restored to Newbury town centre properties

The power went off at streets including West Street and Northbrook Street at about 5.30am.
The vast majority of these had power back within an hour and the rest were restored by 11am.
Southern Electric has thanked its customers for their patience and said that it was still investigating the cause.
