Power still off in Highclere today (Sunday)

A fault in the network has seen SSE engineers digging throughout the Westridge and Tubbs Lane area for nearly six hours as they try to fix the problem.
The power was expected to be switched back on between 5pm and 5.30pm, however SSE has said that it will be nearer to 10 o'clock before it is restored.
The fault is said to be under a brick wall and SSE are bringing generators to the area to provide some power to residents.
The company had to isolate the power supply of 30 properties at around 10am to allow engineers to fix a fault with the network safely.
SSE apologised to the people affected and thanked them for their patience.
