Newbury Pride parade returning soon to town centre




Newbury Pride’s parade is returning this weekend.

Members of the community are invited to join the second Newbury Pride parade at 12.30pm this Saturday (July 13).

The parade will be starting outside the Kennet Centre in Bartholomew Street and set off at 1pm.

The parade will pass along Northbrook Street into the West Street entrance of Parkway.

It will then continue through down the steps across the road into Victoria Park. There is a ramp for disabled access.

The parade will conclude in the park, featuring live music and a market area.

Everyone is welcome, bathing suit areas to be covered. Dogs are also welcome.

Disabled toilets, urinals and portaloos will be available on site.

Visitors are also allowed to use the Parkway toilets until 6pm.
