Primark store set to open in Newbury’s Parkway Shopping centre in Spring 2025

The sign is finally up! For anyone who may have missed the news – which is surely nobody! – Primark is coming to Newbury.

The instantly recognisable light blue sign has now been put up at the former Debenhams store in Parkway.

The opening is planned for spring 2025.

The shopping centre landlords have handed over the premises to the clothing retailer and its teams are onsite now doing the ‘fitting out’.

After months of rumours the news of Primark moving into the town was finally confirmed in September.

And Parkway is looking forward to welcoming visitors to its special late night shopping events, in the week before Christmas, where snow machines will once again turn the shopping centre into a snow-covered winter wonderland.

There will also be a special event, with entertainment, held on December 14 as Newbury really gets into the Christmas spirit.
