Prior's Court short film scoops silver prize at Charity Film Awards

A short film celebrating the work carried out at Prior’s Court won a prize at an industry award ceremony earlier this month.

“Our impact – Geoff and Shaun’s story” focuses on how the residential and educational centre for those with complex autism has positively impacted one particular family.

The subjects of the film, Geoff Holmes and his son Shaun, a 23-year-old who resides at Prior’s Court, were present at the Charity Film Awards 2022 award ceremony at Odeon LUXE cinema in Leicester Square, London, on Tuesday, March 22.

Shaun’s keyworker Santi Martinez Parra, Prior’s Court accommodation manager Clare Maxwell, and marketing and PR manager Dan Whiteway, who produced the film, also attended the evening.

In the film, Mr Holmes tells the story of how his son’s complex autism has impacted their family and how Prior’s Court has ensured Shaun has been getting the right support in life.
