A 50-year-old man remains in custody after being arrested on suspicion of causing a racially aggravated public order offence.
Police attended the protest around 7pm last night and have assured us there is “no wider threat to the public” following the arrest.

The protest comes after counter terrorism police arrested four people in Newbury and London on Thursday (June 26) on suspected terror offences after a break-in at RAF Brize Norton – Britain’s largest airbase – last Friday (June 20).
Two Voyager aircraft were damaged by members of campaign group Palestine Action, which is due to be proscribed as a terror group in the UK, Home Secretary Yvette Cooper has confirmed.
Counter Terrorism Policing South East (CTPSE) has been contacted to confirm whether any of Brize Norton break-in suspects are currently being detained at Newbury Police Station.
