Prolific Calcot shoplifter Jamie Jones awaits sentence




A SERIAL shoplifter who repeatedly targeted one street is awaiting sentence.

Jamie Jones appeared in the dock at Reading Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, June 25.

The 32-year-old, of Burbridge Road, Calcot, admitted three charges of stealing food, together worth £192, on various dates in April and May, from the Co-op in School Road, Tilehurst.

He further admitted stealing £18 worth of goods from the Asda filling station in the same road on Wednesday, May 15.

Magistrates adjourned the case for pre-sentence reports to be prepared.

Mr Jones, who was legally represented by Jeremy Yuille, was meanwhile released on unconditional bail.
