Prolific Hungerford shoplifter is caught

A serial shoplifter caught by a neighbourhood police team is awaiting sentencing.

Paul Little appeared in the dock at Reading magistrates’ Court on Thursday, January 16.

The 44-year-old, of Chestnut Walk, Hungerford, admitted six charges of theft involving beers together worth £60, all from the One Stop shop in Fairview Road, Hungerford, on various dates in November and December last year.

Magistrates adjourned the case for pre-sentence reports to be prepared.

Little was meanwhile released on bail on condition he does not enter the store.
