Greene King offering free drink ahead of Women's Euro 2022 final
One pub chain is offering customers a free drink this weekend in celebration of the England Women’s football team reaching the Euros final.
Greene King wants to reward fans with its free drink offer in its latest drive to support women’s sport across the UK.
The Lionesses, who face Germany at Wembley on Sunday, could be on the verge of securing England’s first major international tournament victory since 1966.
Local pubs that will be talking part in the scheme are the Berkshire Arms, Midgham, The Bear in Hungerford, The Water Tower, Tilehurst, The Swan at Pangbourne, the Fox and Hounds in Tadley and The Old Bell in Grazeley Green.
Marketing manager for Greene King Sport Faye Nixon said: “The Women’s Euros has been nothing short of fantastic.
“The team have broken so many records and we’re all thrilled they’ve made it to the final.
“Whatever happens on Sunday, it’s important we don’t just see this as a one-off moment for women’s sport.
“We need to do everything we can to continue the buzz that has followed this tournament and inspire the next generation of women in sport.”
To claim the free drink, customers must download the Greene King Season Ticket app and register their account no later than noon on Sunday, July 31.
