Public consultation open on Thatcham town centre improvement
Residents of Thatcham can now submit their views and suggestions on how the town centre can be improved.
West Berkshire Council has opened its online public consultation whereby businesses and residents can provide feedback and proposals.
The survey, which is also applicable to Hungerford, takes around 10 minutes to complete.
The aim of the scheme, dubbed the place-making strategy, is to protect and boost the high street as well as enhance its vitality and economic prosperity.
The survey itself delves into a range of issues from introducing town centre facilities, reducing speed limits and creating more green space.
West Berkshire Council said: "It is important for us to understand what businesses want from the town centres as well as the residents to ensure that we have a holistic approach when we look at the designs.
"We hope you can contribute your thoughts and ideas to make the place where you work and live a better one for businesses and communities."
The consultation closes on Monday, January 9.

The strategy, for both Thatcham and Hungerford, are due to be completed by the beginning of March 2023.
