Public drop-in to shape future of Sandleford development

There will be exhibition stands with officers from West Berkshire Council and the site promoters who will be on hand to hear proposals and answer questions.
Keith Chopping, West Berkshire Council’s executive member for planning (Con, Sulhamstead), said: "This event is an opportunity for local people to be involved with the master planning of this project. “The site was selected through the planning process as a suitable location for housing and associated development.
“Detailed plans including proposals for new homes, infrastructure, schools, community facilities and a country park are being worked up and it is at this stage that the views of local people are vital."
The event is being held at Newbury Rugby Club, Monks Lane from 2pm until 8pm.
