Public go behind the scenes at Parkway
Dozens of people went on a guided tour of Newbury's Parkway development on Sunday
DOZENS of people were given a unique insight behind the scenes of Newbury's Parkway development this week.
About 150 people enjoyed a guided tour around the 475,000 sq ft retail and residential complex on Sunday, with many coming away with an increased knowledge of the site and the various stages of construction that had gone into the process of development.
Most people were impressed with what they saw behind the scenes of the multi-million pound development and Newbury resident, Tony Mosson, said he hoped it would be a success for the town.
He said: “I found the tour very informative. It was very interesting to get an inside view of it, particularly from up high where you can get a very good perspective of looking down on the whole plan in place.”
