Public meeting on A339 estate access plans tonight (Weds)

It will be held at 5pm at Newbury Football Club, Faraday Road.
Business and landowners and nearby residents attended a meeting on the plans for the new road last month (some of whom are pictured, right), after a formal planning application was submitted to the district council.
A committee, the Community Representation for Open and Fair Treatment, has since been formed to represent affected parties on the estate.
It was this committee that organised the meeting, to which Mr Carter will attend.
Tony Coleman, managing director of Acedes Gear Tools in Fleming Road, whose building would be demolished to make way for the new road, said: “The first public meeting was attended by almost 40 people, including a representative from the council.
“There are very strong concerns which were clearly communicated.
“The meeting with Nick Carter will allow us all to ask questions.”
Everyone is welcome to attend.
