Theale pubs, The Bull and The Crown, raise nearly £200 for Theale Primary School PTA

Two Theale pubs raised nearly £200 for a school’s parent teacher association after hosting a series of fundraising parties.

The Bull, and its sister pub The Crown, held the parties on April Bank Holiday and the Jubilee weekend and nominated the Rotary Club of Pangbourne as their chosen charity.

The rotary club’s community team decided to donate the total of £171.10 to a Theale cause, the Theale Primary School PTA.

On the evening of Monday, July 11, a cheque was presented from the pubs to the PTA.

Pangbourne Rotary Club’s Brian Davies said: “We thank The Bull and The Crown and their patrons for their generosity and we know that the PTA will put the donation to good effect in their work with the school.”
