Pupils enact the true meaning of Christmas

Pupils at the Stoney Lane, Thatcham, school brought Charles Dickens’ classic tale of redemption to life with impressive scenery and colourful costumes.
Playing the role of Ebenezer Scrooge was Jacob Marshall, while Jemima Unsworth performed as the Ghost of Christmas Present.
At the end of the show, the headmaster, Paul Dick, presented flowers to director Peter Scoggins, and said: “Congratulations to this outstanding cast.
“Their performance was truly magical and brought Christmas home to us all in a stark and meaningful way.
“From the lighting through to the costumes, from the diction through to the movement, all combined beautifully in a very powerful show.
“I am proud of each and every one of you, whether you are on the stage or whether you were involved in the technical side.
“Well done one and all.”
