Puppy walker all set for Edinburgh Marathon tomorrow (Sun)

Jenny Eaton volunteers for the charity, which trains and provides guide dogs to blind and partially-sighted people, by teaching puppies basic skills before they begin formal guide dog training.
Her current puppy is four-month-old black Labrador golden retriever cross, Lincoln, who is already becoming well-known across Newbury with his training requiring him to pay regular trips to busy public places such as supermarkets, shops and cafes, as well as using public transport.
She has already beaten her initial fundraising target of £500 and now hopes to bring in £1,000 for the charity.
A regular Newbury parkrun participant, she said: “I am both nervous and excited for the Edinburgh Marathon and I am just hoping the weather will be kind on the day.
“I am thrilled to have already beaten my fundraising target as Guide Dogs is a charity very close to my heart.
“Lincoln is the second puppy I have walked and it is a thoroughly rewarding experience.
“Our first puppy, Richie, has now just moved on to his advanced training and hopefully will qualify as a Guide Dog in the summer.”
