Purse stolen from car in broad daylight at Sainsbury's in Newbury




Police appealing for witnesses after incident at petrol station

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a purse was stolen from a car in broad daylight at Sainsbury's petrol station in Newbury.

At around 4.30pm yesterday, Thursday April 16, a purse was taken from a handbag from an unlocked blue Vauxhall Corsa.

Thames Valley Police have advised people to make sure vehicles are kept secure at all times and that valuable items are not left unattended.

Anyone with information should call police on 101.
