Queen invites Middletons to join diamond jubilee river pageant

Michael and Carole Middleton and their children Pippa and James, will sail on the Elizabethan paddle steamer as part of the parade on June 3.
Their daughter Catherine, the Duchess of Cambridge, will accompany the Queen and her husband the Duke of Edinburgh on the gilded royal barge, along with senior members of the Royal family.
In a statement released to Newburytoday.co.uk, the organisers of the pageant said: “The Thames Diamond Jubilee Foundation are delighted to confirm that the Middleton Family including Michael Middleton, Carole Middleton, Pippa Middleton and James Middleton will be on board the Elizabethan paddle steamer, as part of the royal squadron for the Thames Diamond Jubilee Pageant.”
The Elizabethan, a replica 1890s Mississippi paddle steamer, is part of the Royal Squadron and will sail behind the Queen’s boat in the procession.
