Gertrude Kingston held the event at Enbridge House Care Home, Church Road, Woolton Hill and when asked by the vicar, the Rev Christine Dale, how old she felt, she said that couldn’t believe she was 105 and certainly didn’t feel it.
Before moving to Enbridge House, Mrs Kingston used to live in Yattendon.
She enjoyed her special day with tea and cake, surrounded by family and friends.
Other highlights of the day for Mrs Kingston included a card bearing birthday greetings from the Queen, and a telegram from pensions secretary Iain Duncan Smith.
