Quizzers donate £2,500 to Rainbow Rooms

Nick Green and his wife Alison run the quiz at the Starting Gate every Thursday and asked the teams taking part to nominate a local charity to donate the money to.
This year's choice was the Rainbow Rooms at West Berkshire Community Hospital.
Over the course of the year, the quizzers raised £2,500, which was presented to Elaine Henderson from Highclere ward at the hospital, with the help of Paul Sinha from the ITV quiz show

Mr Green said: "I am really pleased with the amount we raised, as we set out to raise £2,000 and to raise an additional £500 was fantastic.
"Also we are really thankful to all the teams that turn out week-in week-out to support the quiz and donate their money.
"This money I hope will go a little way to help provide equipment or help staff and patients through the tough times cancer causes, and provide the support they may need."
