Raiders steal £1,000 worth of cigarettes

Police are appealing for information after £1,000 worth of cigarettes were stolen in a burglary at a shop in Kingsclere.
The Nisa Local stores on Swan Street were broken into around 1.30am in the early hours of Thursday, May 28.
Two men wearing motorcycle helmets smashed their way into the store and took cigarettes from behind the counter.
The left the scene on a dark sports-style motorcycle in the direction of Overton. They are described as being slim to medium build, wearing casual clothing.
As well as the £1,000 worth of cigarettes stolen, the damage they caused is also said to be worth around £1,000.
Det ConThomas Prutz said: “This was a small local business targeted for a high value theft. A substantial amount of money has been spent on updating the shop. As part of this incident the offenders did significant damage to the front of the store which must now be repaired.
"I would like to speak to anyone who saw or heard anything on the night or has any information at all about this crime. I would also like to speak to anyone who saw two people on a motorcycle overnight in the rural area of North Hampshire.”
