Disruption to rail services into London Paddington after incident on the line near Slough
Disruption to some rail services is continuing this afternoon after a person was hit by a train between London Paddington and Slough.
The incident happened earlier this morning and the line was shut while emergency services were on the scene.
The line has now reopened, National Rail has confirmed.
Disruption to services is expected to continue for the rest of the day, with Great Western Railway services between Paddington and Reading and the Heathrow Express both affected.
Passengers are being advised that they can use their tickets on other services while the service recovers.
Those planning to travel into London today are being advised to check their journey for any changes.
