Reading FC boost funds at charity golf day





Swings and Smiles, a charity that wants to build a recreational facility in West Berkshire for children with special needs, held its annual golf day at Sandford Springs Golf Club earlier this month.
The Reading FC team was made up of manager, Brian McDermott, goalkeeping coach, Sal Bibbo, physiotherapist, Luke Anthony, assistant manager, Nigel Gibbs, and former captain and patron of Swings and Smiles, Graeme Murty.
The winning team was Handelsbanken, with DHL in second, while Mr Bibbo winning the longest drive of the competition.
