Reading firefighters tackle Pangbourne vehicles and Aldermaston caravan fires





Spokeswoman for the Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service (RBFRS) Nicole Targett, said two pumps, from Tilehurst and Caversham Road fire stations in Reading, were called at 5.08pm toa caravan on fire in woodland at Reading Road, Aldworth.
The blaze was extinguished by a firefighter using a hosereel.
The caravan was destroyed in the blaze, with no further information as to the cause.
Firefighters left the scene at 5.46pm.
At 7pm the same day, one pump was called from Tilehurst fire station to Meadowside Road, Pangbourne, where two vehicles were well alight.
The fire was extinguished by two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus.
The cause was put down to an electrical fault.
Firefighters left the scene after about half an hour.
