Fire stations in Hungerford, Lambourn, Pangbourne and Mortimer seeking new recruits
FIRE stations in Hungerford, Lambourn, Pangbourne and Mortimer are seeking retained firefighters, with a recruitment drive this weekend (Aug 6/7), in Reading.
Retained firefighters often have other employment and respond to call-outs via a pager. Applicants must be aged over 18, with a good standard of fitness.
Anyone interested should attend the open day, at 9.30am on either Saturday or Sunday (Aug 6/7) at Whitley Wood Fire Station, in Whitley Wood Road, Reading, RG2 8FS.
