Recycle obselete electrical items in Newbury

With electrical items one of the most popular Christmas gifts, old, unwanted mobile telephones and televisions and other gadgets can be recycled.
Information stored on the devices should be removed, before taking them for recycling.
All electrical items – anything with a power cable or battery-powered – can be dropped off at the re-use shed in area two at the Newbury Recycling Centre, off Newtown Road.
There are also a number of small electrical recycling banks throughout West Berkshire.
