Sounds of Jimmy Cliff, UB40, The Specials, Dawn Penn and Bob Marley change of venue today

Bad weather has forced the performance by Rude Not 2, hosted by Sound Newbury, off Victoria Park Bandstand today. They will now play at the Bacon Arms from 3pm-5pm.

Rude Not 2 are a recently formed Reggae covers band from Newbury with an eight piece line up including a full brass section. They play Reggae and Ska classics from the likes of Jimmy Cliff, UB40, The Specials, Dawn Penn and Bob Marley.

Sound Newbury are a non profit promoting live music in Newbury and the surrounding area.

Originally providing sound and lights for live music performers, they are now also organising and promoting events.

The September 9 event on The Bandstand is from award wining community choir Sing for Fun, followed by various local performers including the newly formed Caskettes – who are the regulars at The Cow & Cask MicroPub.
