Newbury and West Berkshire regional finalists revealed for 2024 Muddy Stilettos Awards

Now in its 11th year, The Muddy Stilettos Awards are back.

A total of 1,995 finalists have been announced for this year’s Regional Awards Finals, including 105 West Berkshire businesses chosen by their customers and Muddy readers.

From the first round of nominations across 21 lifestyle categories, only the top five in the Thames Valley with the most nominations in each category have made it into the finals.

The second round of final voting has begun.

And the lifestyle business awards is inviting customers, friends and family to vote for their favourite business – including three new category additions Best Casual Dining, Best Event Venue and Best Wine and Beer Specialist.

The names of the West Berkshire companies nominated are:

Arts, Culture and Theatre Venue: Corn Exchange (Newbury) and The Base (Greenham)

Bar: Renegade Brewery Taproom (Yattendon)

Beauty Salon/Clinic: The Pink Door (Hungerford)

Boutique Stay: The Dolphin (Newbury) and Crown and Garter (Inkpen)

Casual Dining: Goat on the Roof (Newbury) and The Boxford (Boxford)

Destination Pub: The Harrow (West Ilsley)

Event Venue: Hillfields Farm (Upper Basildon), Little Park Farm (Mortimer) and The Post Barn (Snelsmore Common)

Family Attraction: Bucklebury Farm & Deer Safari Park (Bucklebury) and The Living Rainforest (Hampstead Norreys)

Farmshop/Deli: Cobbs Farm Shop (Englefield)

Fitness Instructor: Natalie Jenner, Sweaty Mama (Newbury) and Vanessa Elliott, Vanessa PT (Mortimer Common)

Florist: Floral Beauts (Newbury), Sonning Flowers (Newbury) and Adventures with Flowers (Theale)

Hair Salon: Sequoia Hair (Newbury)

Hotel: The Retreat at Elcot Park (Elcot) and The Vineyard (Stockcross)

Lifestyle Store: Charlotte Manser Ceramics (South Fawley) and The Corner Shop (Woolhampton)

Local Food/Drink Producer: Berkshire Botanical (Yattendon) and Berkshire Trout (Hungerford)

Restaurant: Damson Restaurant (Winterbourne) and The Woodspeen (Woodspeen)

Wine and Beer Specialist: Inn at Home (Newbury)

Women’s Fashion/Accessories: Amelia Rose Accessories (Newbury), Fifi and Moose (Newbury) and White Coco (Hungerford)

Yoga/Pilates Studio: Soul Barns (Mortimer) and Wellness Pilates (Woolton Hill)

Voting closes at 1pm on Thursday, April 18.

The winners will be announced on May 2.

Every regional winner will automatically go forward to the ‘Winner of Winners’ National Muddy Awards.
