Sulhamstead swing bridge repairs to shut road for two weeks

A swing bridge will be closed for the next two weeks, writes Harry Craig.

Tyle Mill Swing Bridge will be closed for repairs in Sulhamstead from Monday, November 6 until Friday, November 17.

The closure will be in effect from 9.30am until 3.30pm each day.

The closure is to allow Volker Highways to carry out works to renew the bridge surface.

An alternative route is available via Ufton Nervet, Padworth, the A4 and vice versa.

The diversion will be signposted on-site.
