Reported sightings of missing Newbury man





Thames Valley Police told NewburyToday this afternoon (Wednesday) that there had been possible sightings of the 56-year-old in Newbury town centre, Thatcham and just north of Chieveley services.
The Thames Valley Police helicopter account @NPAS_Benson Tweeted this afternoon that it was assisting officers search rural areas near Chieveley.
The sightings were all reported on Monday.
Mr Hillier, described as white, 5ft 7ins tall and bald, was last seen at his Newbury home on Monday morning, wearing a Khaki green Parka-style jacket.
Police spokeswoman, Connie Primmer, said that people had reported seeing Mr Hillier wearing the jacket with the hood up and pulled around his face.
Officers have said that they are concerned for Mr Hillier's welfare, owing to his state of mind when he was last seen.
Miss Primmer added that this concern would grow the longer that he was reported missing and that anybody who knew of Mr Hillier's whereabouts, or for Mr Hillier himself, to make contact.
